A complete end product handling system, spanning palletising to preparation of the shipping bays, all perfectly in synch with the automatic warehouse located onsite.

That was the brief Ocme received from Caviro, a major name in the Italian wine industry and a key client for Robopac, especially since - with the latest supply agreement - the company was afforded the status of exclusive supplier for pallet wrapping solutions.
Caviro is also the very first customer to have installed Robopac’s new offering, the Genesis Thunder (an automatic wrapping machine with rotating ring) in its facility.

Ocme, meanwhile, has met Caviro’s requirements with a system featuring 11 shuttles with three different kinds vehicles (based on the areas in the facility and the work to be done) and a manual reloading system.

In detail, three Auriga 25 Z vehicles have been supplied for handling the finished product from the palletising stage, allowing the movement of two pallets for each LGV cycle and handling consumables (label reels, film reels for wrapping machines, empty pallets).

There are also five Auriga 15 PS vehicles, used for handling 1200x800 Euro pallets from the automatic warehouse (A) to the truck loading bays.

Finally, three 15 CT vehicles were provided for the handling of finished product on pallets 1200x1000 - 1100x900 - 1200x800 - 1219x1016 (Europallet - Japan - America) from the warehouse (B) to the bays.

Of great importance is the possibility of interfacing with the 2 automatic warehouses and with the customer's management system, which allowed the customization of product flow according to the needs of the facility.

Robopac has supplied four pallet wrappers to Caviro: Helix HS 30 as a line for wrapping pallets coming from the Bag in Box production line for the foreign market; the Genesis Futura 40 for all 2 glass bottling lines and, as mentioned above, the Genesis HS 50 and Genesis Thunder, for the demi-pallet wrapping line and rewrapping on the mother pallet.

Automatic and high-performance solutions, those offered by Robopac and OCME.

For the customer, the adoption of Robopac machines over recent years has meant an increase in pallet stability, a significant reduction in consumables costs (films, layers), and easy and direct application of the solutions researched in the Robopac Tech Lab.

Robopac has supplied Caviro with four wrapping machines, namely: Helix HS 30 as a line for wrapping pallets coming from the Bag in Box production lines for the foreign market; Genesis Futura 40 for all 2 glass bottling lines and, Genesis HS 50 and Genesis Thunder, for the demi-pallet wrapping line and rewrapping on the mother pallet.

Automatic and high-performance solutions, offered by Robopac and Ocme, allowed the customer to reach the results expected in terms of logistic efficiency and in end-of-line operations in general, and for all parties to keep on enjoying a reciprocally rewarding relationship that began back in the late 1990s.
