OCME's activitiy in China began in 1979, with the work of a local agent. It was further consolidated in 2006 with the inauguration of OCME Jiaxing, in the province of Zehjiang in the Popular Republic of China.
Since then, the Chinese branch has grown considerably, with more than 1000 machines installed in the area and serving leading companies in the Beverage, Food, Lube and Edible Oil, Personal Care and Liquid Detergents industries.
With a workforce of over 100 employees and an annual turnover of over CNY 100 million, one of OCME Jiaxing's objectives is to produce fully automatic and advanced end-of-line packaging machines for the local market, becoming the leading supplier in China of end-of-line packaging machines for PET, cans and glass lines, with an efficient and punctual sales and after-sales service for all OCME technologies in China, both produced locally and made in Italy.
OCME also sets up its training and support center for Asia Pacific countries in its Chinese headquarters, being closer to local markets according to a One Global Company policy with a strong glocal component.
