We are looking for a
Electrical Designer - Electrical Standardisation Manager
to be employed in the Automation Technical Office
in our HQ at Parma, Italy.


The role of the Electrical Designer in charge of electrical standardisation, who reports directly to the Automation Manager, involves analysing the electrical specifications required by customers and the market as a whole, to define design rules that must be followed by all electrical designers; choices must be made to optimise development times and implementation costs; the role also involves analysing costs to keep the sales price list updated and to calculate the costs for special solutions required by customers.

They will also have to support the Sales and Sales Engineering Department during the offer phase of new plants and machines with regard to electrical aspects. In some cases they will have to interface directly with customers in order to define the solutions that will be adopted to meet their needs.

The Electrical Designer in charge of electrical standardisation will also have to collaborate with mechanical and software designer colleagues in the conception, analysis and definition of the specifications of the new machinery to be built.

  • Definition of electrical design rules and drafting of documentation required by electrical designers;

The Travelling Test Technician reports directly to the Field Engineering Manager and is responsible for the testing and installation of machines at the premises of major clients, mostly international.

The ideal candidate will have good English skills and be willing to travel in Italy and abroad for around 160-180 days per year.

The resource will work on palletizing and depalletizing systems, both traditional and robotic.


This is a permanent role which requires the completion of an initial training period.

Salary is based on experience, with generous travel expenses provided.


  • the functional testing of machines and/or systems in house, to ensure that they are shipped in perfect compliance with internal orders;

We are looking for a SOFTWARE DESIGNER

to join our Automation Office of the Engineering & R&D Department in our HQ at Parma, Italy.


The role of the Electronic Software Designer, who reports directly to the Automation Manager, involves the development of contract software for machines and plants, when required, internal testing and commissioning at the customer (availability is required for about 50/60 days per year of travel).

The software development will be done using starting masters on the basis of which it will be necessary to develop customizations for machines and plants sold. The role also includes the study of new solutions and R&D projects.

In particular, the role includes a focus on complex systems for the handling of products (parcels and pallets transport) with traceability logics; in this context you will have to follow all the development phases of the system; you will have to support the Sales Engineering Department in the definition of the layout and operation of the plant, you will collaborate with the Mechanical and Hardware Engineering Departments during the design phases, actively participating in the choice of components and solutions to be adopted; you will be responsible for software development and subsequently support the technical testers during internal testing and start-up at the customer's site.
