AETNA GROUP AT DJAZAGRO, THE KERMESSE THAT HAS ESTABLISHED ITSELF IN ALGERIA AS A REFERENCE FOR THE AGRI-FOOD INDUSTRY

A major event is taking place in the North African region: it is Djazagro, the trade fair dedicated to the food processing, preservation and packaging sectors scheduled to take place at the Palais des Expositions de la SAFEX in Algiers (Algeria) from 5 to 8 June 2023.

The event takes its name from “Djazair” - which in the local language means Algeria - and “agro”, a reference to the agri-food industry. Over the past 15 years, the latter has developed to such an extent that it has become the country's second largest industry after hydrocarbons. In fact, Algeria is a land characterised by a wealth of opportunities: the cities, agricultural land and industrial activities in the north blend with a southern region characterised by the Sahara desert, rich in natural resources as well as hydrocarbons. Further, the geographic location of the North African state places it at the strategic crossroads of three worlds - the Mediterranean, the Arab, and the African - thereby establishing it as the main reference point in the Maghreb.

Aetna Group understands the importance of a business model capable of enhancing the Made in Italy status of its technology worldwide with a tailored service that is capable of meeting the needs of different markets. This represents the very essence of its One Global Company corporate philosophy with a well-defined and structured local for local approach. The Group's presence at Djazagro supports these principles and features the Robopac Packers and Robopac Systems BUs at the D038 Booth in the Central Hall.

Continuous film and sealing bar shrink-wrapping machines, wrap-around machines, trays, combined lines and palletizers are the technological “cores” behind the design and manufacture of shrink-wrapping as well as tray forming by Robopac Packers. This is recognised by the largest multinational corporations operating across a wide range of sectors as a partner of excellence, offering expertise and innovative solutions for them.

This is complemented by Robopac Systems' solutions and automatic machines dedicated to the stabilisation of palletised loads, whose technology supports the production of rotating tables, arms and rings, horizontal wrapping machines as well as belt wrapping machines. With a total production of more than 500 units per year, of which 75% is export value, Robopac Systems offers a wide range of proposals that can be customised to the customer's specific needs, taking into account production, industrial and company layout requirements.

With this line-up, Aetna Group takes part in the Algerian trade fair that awaits more than 22,000 visitors curious to discover the novelties and evolutionary incentives that the exhibitors - 75% of whom come from 25 countries around the world - will be happy to share. This will give new impetus to an increasingly competitive and flexible industry, where transversal know-how and the ability to look towards the near future are defined as the keys to successful growth.
