Aetna Group renews its participation in Djazagro, the leading international trade fair dedicated to the agri-food industry in Algeria, founded in 2003 and held annually in Algiers. The name Djazagro derives from the combination of “Djazair”, Algeria in Algerian Arabic, and “agro”, highlighting the agro-food sector.
The 2025 edition confirmed the event’s strong impact: 23,000 visitors, mainly national and international professionals from the food industry, many of whom were decision-makers active in processing, packaging, distribution and catering. A total of 650 exhibitors from 36 countries took part, confirming the increasingly international dimension of the event and the rapid expansion of the local market, making Algeria a strategic area for the entire sector.
The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of all segments of the agri-food industry: bakery & pastry, conditioning & packaging, handling & storage, hospitality & catering, food processing, food products & beverages, raw materials, ingredients and additives, as well as services. A dynamic platform also distinguished by a rich programme of talks and special initiatives, such as the Education Area, a forum connecting students, professionals and experts, and DJAZ’INNOV, the competition dedicated to the most innovative products.
For the 2026 edition, Aetna Group leverages its extensive experience in the food industry, with a particular focus on Preserved Food and Beverage sectors, especially the water segment. Thanks to its end-of-line technologies, the Group provides complete and customised solutions designed to meet the specific needs of these sectors, characterised by high volumes, maximum precision and accuracy in secondary packaging, and strict load stabilisation standards.
Participation in Djazagro represents an important opportunity for Aetna Group to meet customers and partners, showcase the potential of complete and tailor-made end-of-line solutions, and strengthen its role as a reference partner for automation and process optimisation in the agri-food industry.
