OCME is one of the winners of the sixth edition of the MissionFleet Awards 2021, an Italian award dedicated to the company car sector, whose main objective is to review the best practices in company fleet management and highlight the most relevant cases. The proclamation took place on November 22 at Alcatraz, in Milan, during the gala attended by 170 participants. The award was collected by Christian Marcello, Facility and Maintenance Manager of OCME who, together with his team, has brought concrete results in terms of innovation and sustainability.
The MissionFleet Awards is an event organised by the publishing house Newsteca based in Milan, which every year dedicates an award to the best fleet managers and automotive suppliers in the corporate fleet sector. Eight awards has been dedicated to the world of fleet managers, including the "Mobility Manager of the Year", where the solutions and concrete plans adopted by OCME in the field of facility management and procurement excelled.
Lately, the fleet manager position had to face big changes: on one hand the continuity of the Covid-19 effects, on the other hand the crisis of raw materials that has slowed the delivery of new cars. For this reason, the jury wanted to give value to the projects capable of effectively reducing CO2 emissions from car fleets and the shift towards electric cars. "I am deeply honored by the recognition received - said Dr. Marcello - and I am ready to get involved in view of new challenges".
