The seminar, held February 7 and 8 at the Robopac USA facility in Duluth Georgia, was a long-awaited initiative that empowers women in the packaging industry to learn, grow, share, and inspire each other to reach their full potential.
The seminar was led by women in packaging sales, service, engineering and product management from Robopac USA. The goal is for every “Women in Packaging” seminar to be co-led by respected industry thought leaders. The February seminar was supported with an in-depth training session on the principles of stretch film by Carla Thorne, Regional Manager at Paragon Films.
Andrea Islas, from American Paper & Packaging, attended the recent seminar and stated, “This has reinforced why it is important for me to make sure I’m educated to be the advocate for my customer. The training that you provided gave me another tool in my tool chest to use when I’m out on calls. The seminar was very valuable…I would come back again.”
