Role:

The role of Electronic HMI Designer, who reports directly to the Automation Manager, involves order software development for the operator panels for machines and supervision systems in the Packaging sector.

When required, they will also perform internal inspection and commissioning activity at the client’s workplace.

HMI development will involve starting master standards for which the required customisations will need to be developed.

The technician will also need to collaborate with their SW  automation colleagues for the analysis and joint development of the machines and/or systems sold.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Software for Operator Panels and Supervision Systems;
• Design of computer Networks and programming of industrial Switches and Routers;
• Functional Specifications;
• Documentation for manuals office;
• Documentation/support for inspection.

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in electronic/computer engineering;

• Experience in a similar role;

• Knowledge of programming in structured languages such as C#, .NET and similar;

• Knowledge of main programming SW for SIEMENS and ROCKWELL operator panels;

• Knowledge of main SCADA development SW such as Zenon and Intouch;

• Knowledge of computer Networks and devices such as Switches, Routers and similar of which they are composed;

• English, preferably another language;

• Use of Office - SAP and other company programs;

• Analysis, problem solving, independence (in observance of company rules) and flexibility;

• Capacity for teamwork.

Manager to support our customers for our UK Operation.

The role:

You will identify & implement after-sales strategies across our range of brands, supporting our existing customer base in the promotion of service contracts, upgrades, and various other aftersales products and services. The role will include putting together detailed upgrade/modification proposals in a presentation form, preparing quotes, and processing orders. Additionally, you will support the aftersales managers with the integration of the products/services sold to customers.

You will be expected to provide documention / reports on all sales activities and ensure accurate sales forecasts.

The position of packers in-house mechanical tester, who reports directly to the Technical Test Manager, involves in-house mechanical testing only. The technician will collaborate with the testers and electricians in order to prepare the delivery of the machine to the customer in accordance with the required quality standards. The technician will work on packers, shrink wrapper packers and carton packers.

Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of packaging machines and/or systems, within the company and at provincial facilities to ensure that they are shipped perfectly in accordance with internal orders;

• Training to Field and production staff and new employees (so as to contribute to the technical growth of the staff);

• Close collaboration with Technical Department to report feedback during internal testing.

Placement:

Permanent employment and initial training are expected. Remuneration according to experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or degree in electrical/mechanic engineering, mechatronics;

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical, pneumatic and electronic diagrams;

• Knowledge and use of HMI; 

• Knowing how to write work programmes (recipes);

• Mechanical testing of the machine on different formats;

• At least 5 years' experience in the position, preferably on packers;

• Problem solving capabilities and autonomy in the task;

• Knowledge of English.
