From 24 to 26 June 2025, Aetna Group will participate in the ProPak China 2025 – 30th International Processing and Packaging Exhibition: the leading trade fair in China dedicated to processing and packaging technologies. The event will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC) in Shanghai, where more than 50,000 visitors and more than 2,500 exhibitors from around the world are expected over a total area of 200,000 square metres. This is in conjunction with FoodPack China, Hi & Fi Asia-China, HNC and Starch Expo.
Aetna Group will be present in Hall 5.1, stand 51D65, with an exhibition curated by Aetna Group China. This is a company formed by the merger of the historical subsidiaries Robopac China and OCME China. At the trade fair, two representative solutions of the Group’s technological vision will be displayed: the Robot S7, a self-propelled stretch film wrapping machine that is flexible and intuitive, capable of wrapping and stabilising loads of any shape and weight, and the Robot Master, an agile and compact packaging tool based on the experience of over 25,000 Robopac robots sold worldwide. This machine is simple to use and suitable for most industrial applications.
Participation in ProPak China 2025 represents a significant confirmation of the Group’s internationalisation strategy. This aims to strengthen its presence in the Chinese market, a market that is becoming increasingly central to the entire Asian region. The significance of this role was further enhanced with the opening, at the end of 2024, of the new production facility in Jiaxing, in the Zhejiang Province. The newly built facility has doubled the Group’s production capacity in the region, confirming its role as the leading local supplier of end-of-line solutions. This strategic step has enabled Aetna Group to provide technical and commercial support that is increasingly responsive and tailored. This support aims to anticipate the needs of the local market with high-quality solutions inspired by Italian know-how. The bond between the Aetna Group and China has deep roots: from the opening of the first OCME factory in Jiaxing in 2006 to the production of the first local machine in 2007, and the expansion in 2013. Today, the new facility strengthens a historical presence that combines expertise and services. This makes the Group a reference point for the entire Chinese industry.
With a comprehensive range that includes technologies for wrapping, handling, palletising, and packaging, Aetna Group continues to stand out for its ability to combine innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. ProPak China 2025 will be an opportunity to meet partners and stakeholders from across the entire production chain. It will also enable the Group to reaffirm the added value of Robopac and OCME solutions on a global scale.
