To achieve these results, the existing shrink wrap system has been completely changed and replaced by one with stretch film and with new stretch wrappers. GENESIS FUTURA was the solution offered by Robopac to meet the needs of Ceramica Sant’Agostino. It is an automatic wrapping machine which guarantees safety, reduction of the overall weight and balance of the rotating masses. This choice implies not only a reduction in investment costs, but also low energy consumption, a reduced need for maintenance, great reliability and durability.
Genesis Futura is equipped with an integrated TOP INSIDE system, to cover the upper face of the pallet, and the ARC automatic reel change device. In addition, the transport of the machine center is performed by a rotary table installed on a hydraulic lift, which ensures excellent stability of the product on the wooden pallet.
Genesis Futura is characterized by the patented CUBE technology, which allows you to use exactly the right amount of film in the right position with the necessary containment force. The presence of CUBE Technology guarantees a reduction of the film up to 50%, an improvement of the containment of the pallet and a better care of the product, with a reduction of the damage up to 40%. All with an high-quality packaging and safer logistics. The supply was completed with a horizontal and vertical strapping machine, as well as a labeling machine placed after the winder.
The whole plant is served by a roller transport line with a pallet centering system and two 90 ° pallet rotation tables, to guarantee perfect product alignment.
Therefore, Ceramica Sant’Agostino was able to make a direct comparison between the previous shrink-wrap system and the new stretch-film system by Robopac.
