End-of-Line and Multi-Sector Innovation for a Moving Industry

At Interpack 2026, Aetna Group turns the end-of-line from a final production step into a strategic hub where technology, logistics, and expertise converge to create measurable value for manufacturers.

Aetna Group will participate in Interpack 2026 as part of its Lightning World Tour 2026, a global series of trade fairs and events dedicated to packaging innovation. As one of the main exhibitors at this show, the Group reaffirms its mission of transforming the end-of-line into an intelligent, connected, and safety-oriented ecosystem — delivering integrated technology, intralogistics, and customer care to manufacturers worldwide.

The fast-moving consumer goods sector is rapidly changing. Consumers influence materials, formats, and packaging sustainability, while manufacturers must react quickly to ensure production continuity, product protection, and operational efficiency. At Interpack, Aetna Group responds with an integrated offer combining machinery, intralogistics, and services within a single technological architecture. Anchor brands such as Robopac, OCME, and Meypack, and focused brands such as TopTier and Sotemapack, cover the entire end-of-line process — from secondary packaging to palletizing, load stabilization, and automated intralogistics — guided by clear priorities: operator safety, product integrity, material optimization, and business sustainability.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF STAND:
FROM STORYTELLING TO STORYLIVING

At approximately 1,000 m² (Hall 13 – Booth A47), Aetna Group’ presence at Interpack is designed not as a machine display, but as a structured experience — one that reflects how the Group actually works with its customers: through listening, expertise, and dialogue.

The stand unfolds across three distinct environments, each designed to engage visitors at a progressively deeper level.

Engagement: Discovering the Group and Its Markets

The first contact with Aetna Group begins along the external perimeter of the stand, where Showcase Boxes offer an immediate window into the Groups cross-sector reach. In addition to a general overview of machines, these curated installations feature the packaged products of Aetnas clients — from food and beverage to personal care, pet food, and industrial goods — making the Groups multi-sector expertise visible and tangible from the very first step. Connected to each product displayed, visitors can select on the integrated touchscreen videos highlighting how Aetnas technology processes that specific product, which solutions are available in the portfolio, and case histories from the relevant sector.

A Welcome Desk greets arriving visitors and invites them to begin their journey, while the Photo Box offers a moment of personal engagement with the brand. This outer circuit is designed to capture attention, communicate breadth, and invite visitors inside.

Involvement: Technology, Insights, and Services

Entering the stand, visitors move into a more focused environment where technology comes to life. The Visitor Experience Desk — visually anchored by a lightning bolt graphic and the headline “ of Line Innovation” — provides active, personalised support throughout the visit: orienting visitors, directing them to the most relevant demonstrations, and ensuring their time on the stand is as efficient and effective as possible.

Live demonstrations and interactive screens allow direct engagement with Aetna Groups solutions across the full end-of-line spectrum:

• Advanced semi-automatic machines

• Pallet wrapping systems, including paper-based solutions

• Cartoning machines for flexible packaging, with a focus on the pet food sector

• Complete packaging technologies for fragile containers

• A comprehensive multi-sector palletizing portfolio

• Pallet stabilization systems integrated with AGVs and LGVs for automated intralogistics

Digital Stage

At the center of this circuit, the Digital Stage multiplies the possibilities to showcase solutions that may not be physically present on the stand. Through a published programme of dynamic content and scheduled sessions — made available in advance to help visitors and sales teams plan their experience — visitors can explore stand-alone machines, integrated line concepts, international case studies, software solutions, and insights from Aetna Group’s global TechLab network. A dedicated content team manages the stage and supports the commercial team in accessing and presenting relevant content in real time, extending the experience well beyond the physical machines on display.

Discovery Box

Adjacent to the Digital Stage, the Discovery Box offers a more immersive environment for selected partners: an enclosed, cinema-format space where upcoming innovations and concepts currently in development are presented, offering a forward-looking view of the Group’s technological direction.

Customer Care

The internal circuit also includes a dedicated Customer Care area, where specialists present the full scope of the Group’s service offering — remote support, spare parts management, training programs, and factory management software. Competitiveness is built not only on machine performance, but on the continuity and reliability of the entire production system.

Relationship: Business Dialogue and Decision Support

The third level of the experience takes place on the first floor, in a purpose-built business area designed for meaningful conversation. Here, visitors can meet with Aetna Groups sales engineers and sector specialists across meeting tables, quick meet spots, and a private board room, in a setting that supports both informal exchanges and structured sessions.

This is where the visit moves from interest to consideration: where packaging challenges are discussed in depth, configurations are explored, and the path toward the most suitable solution begins to take shape. The space is designed to support decision-making — providing the right environment, the right people, and the right information.

TECHLAB:
SAFE PACKAGING SAVES MONEY

A highlight of the Digital Stage programme is the presentation of TechLab, Aetna Group’ global laboratory network dedicated to developing and certifying packaging solutions. With facilities in Bologna, Stuttgart, Valencia, Atlanta, Shanghai, and Porto Alegre — and more than 1,000 tests conducted every year — TechLab operates as an accredited (N. 1772L) center of excellence for load stability optimization.

Through dedicated video content and real-world test simulations presented at the Digital Stage, visitors discover how scientific testing translates directly into operational and financial value:

• Product damage reduced by up to 60%

• Palletized load stability increased by up to 40%

• Packing material saved by up to 85%

These are not abstract performance indicators — they are measurable outcomes that affect supply chain costs, environmental impact, and the safety of every load that leaves the production floor. By connecting testing methodology to real industrial results, TechLab demonstrates that load safety is both a strategic advantage and a driver of sustainable operations.

A PLATFORM FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH Interpack 2026 also represents a strategic opportunity to accelerate development in established and high-potential markets — including Asia and Africa — while strengthening relationships with customers, agents, and distributors worldwide. On 7 May, a global Dealer Meeting dedicated to the semi-automatic machine network will bring together partners from across the world for strategic alignment and international networking.
