Aetna Group USA is getting ready for major expansion in the US market. In addition to the usual trade fairs in Chicago and Las Vegas, in 2025 the company will also be at Pack Expo Southeast (stand #1630), the event organised by PMMI dedicated to packaging and processing solutions for consumer packaged goods and industrial products.

The trade fair is taking place from 10 to 12 March at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. It represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen even further the connection with the territory, in particular with the Robopac USA and OCME USA plant at Duluth, a plant which has seen significant growth in recent years. In fact, the Duluth plant has recently doubled its surface area, now covering more than 6,000 sq.m and becoming a centre of excellence for the technological innovation of the Group as well as being a reference point for all US customers, providing assistance services and end of line automation solutions for the US market.

Inside, the completely renovated showroom permanently houses all Aetna Group technologies and features Techlab, the state-of-the-art laboratory dedicated to the optimisation of palletised loads and saving packaging materials. Here, customers can carry out specific packaging tests to identify the most suitable solutions to ensure that products reach their destination in perfect condition. For the occasion, two exclusive events have been organised for the evenings of 10 and 11 March, as the fair is closing for the day. During these events, visitors will have the opportunity to see a fully operational fleet of machinery, divided into thematic areascovering the Group's main technologies:

  • Semi-automatic stretch wrappers, with seven models with turntable and rotary arm and the self-propelled solution for stretch film packaging Robot S7, equipped with Stop&Go technology to ensure an immediate stoppage in the event of an obstacle.
  • Automatic stretch wrapper, including the Helix 3 EVO rotary arm wrapping machine models and LT AUTOMATIC turntable.
  • Horizontal ring wrapper, with five semi-automatic Robopac models and a large automatic model Sotemapack.
  • Integrated line for packaging, palletising and intralogistics for low frequencies, which includes the case packer Sotemapack WA20, the palletiser Cobot by Robopac and the shuttle LGV Auriga 15CT by OCME.
  • Innovativepackaging linefor frozen food, with the Meypack stretch wrapper for cartons containing frozen pizza and the palletiser combined with the TopTier wrapper.
  • High-speed shrink wrapper Vega HT 100, ideal for "nested-pack" packages in the beverage sector.
  • An automated truck loading system with the shuttle LGV Auriga ATL by OCME, with integrated loading bay.
  • The Techlab laboratory, equipped with acceleration slide and vibrating platform for advanced testing on palletised loads.

Internal logistics is of major importance, including the OCME laser-guided shuttle, designed to directly and automatically load from the truck. This solution stands out as an innovation of particular interest to the US market, effectively responding to the increasing demands for efficiency and automation required by companies in the sector.

It will also be a unique opportunity for networking and meeting other players in the sector, thanks to specific areas dedicated to entertainment, gaming and food & beverage. Participation in Pack Expo Southeast 2025 and the organisation of the Open House at the Duluth showroom represent a further step in the consolidation of Aetna Group USA's presence in the US market, confirming its role as a reference in the field of technological innovation and advanced solutions for the packaging and logistics sector.
